FAQ

Good questions.

Space & Capacity

How many people can your space hold?

The Silo seats up to 25 guests, with a maximum capacity of 60 for cocktail-style events.

Do you use the bar for additional seating?

We have barstools available, but when using the bar as a seated area we will need to reconfigure drink and food service.

Can we open the garage doors if the weather is nice?

Absolutely! Weather permitting, we're happy to open the garage doors for your event.

Booking & Pricing

What is the fee scale?
Event TimeRoom RentalMinimum Gratuity
Daytime (11am–4pm)$100$150
Weekday & Sunday Evenings (4–10pm)$150$200
Friday & Saturday Evenings$200$250
Is there a minimum spend?

There's no minimum spend required on food and beverage. However, your reservation includes a $100 deposit (applied to your final bill), a room rental fee, and a minimum gratuity. The minimum gratuity only applies if 20% of your total bill doesn't already meet that amount.

When do I need to have my food order finalized?

We ask that your food order be submitted at least 10 days prior to your event date.

Food & Beverage

Can I bring outside food or drinks?

We ask that outside food and beverages not be brought in. The one exception is desserts — you’re welcome to provide your own. If your dessert requires plating or service, a $25 cake-cutting fee applies.

What are the bar service options?

There are three ways to handle your bar tab:

  • Guest-paid bar — Guests purchase their own drinks directly from the bartender; only non-alcoholic beverages (soda, lemonade, tea) go on the main tab.
  • Full open bar — All beverages, including alcohol, are placed on the main tab.
  • Split tab — The host pays for a portion while the rest becomes a cash bar. For example, beer and wine on the main tab with liquor kept on separate tabs, or the host pays up to a set dollar amount and then the open bar becomes a cash bar. Drink tickets/tokens are also an option.

Music & Entertainment

Can we play our own music?

Yes! If your personal device is compatible with our sound system, we can play your playlist.

Decorations & Logistics

Can I decorate the space?

Yes, decorations are welcome! We just ask for no glitter or confetti, and that all decorations be taken home at the end of the event. If you plan to arrive early to set up, please let us know in advance so our staff can plan accordingly and have the room ready for you.

Where should I tell my guests to park?

Guests can park in our lot or along Front St. Please avoid Frederick Street, as it’s permit parking only.
